Meet Dr. Ganjawalla

Dr. Karan Ganjawalla is excited to join our team. Originally from the Midwest, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He attended dental school at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he earned his D.M.D. and graduated with Honors. He then pursued further training and earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital. In his final year of training, he served as chief resident at the Massachusetts General Hospital – Division of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and Boston Children’s Hospital – Department of Plastic & Oral Surgery.

Dr. Ganjawalla is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS). She has also published multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on topics such as surgical training, anesthesia, craniofacial surgery, trauma, and reconstructive surgery.

His clinical interests include complex implant surgery, craniofacial/orthognathic and reconstructive surgery, and maxillofacial trauma. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Ganjawalla enjoys watching movies, skiing, exploring Boston restaurants, and spending quality time with his family.
